jenna: joining me now, congressman sandy levin, democrat from michigan. also the ranking member of the house ways and means committee. nice to have you in studio with us. >> nice to be with you. jenna: what a pleasure. you said if the governor made this decision which he has made, this would plunge michigan into endless controversy and strife. why do you think that? >> because it divides workers among themselves and really divides workers from management. if you ask the big three, do they want the right to work so-called, their answer would be no because we have evolved in michigan some amicable labor-management relations and workers have a voice. it has to be done by a majority. and they now have a voice in the workplace and management, the big three and others think, it is good for workers to have a serves. jenna: my understanding in 1965 when you were working in state government you were part of developing one of the first major laws that talk about employment and labor relations in this country. so it must be interesting for you to look back on that a
